By booking an appointment, visiting our clinic, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before availing any services at Aesthetic Arts Skin & Laser Centre. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services.
1. Services Offered
Aesthetic Arts Skin & Laser Centre provides medical aesthetic treatments including but not limited to facial treatments, laser procedures, injectable treatments, hair restoration therapies, and body contouring. All services are performed by or under the direct supervision of qualified medical professionals.
Our services are for aesthetic and cosmetic enhancement purposes. They do not constitute primary medical treatment and should not replace consultation with your general physician or specialist for underlying medical conditions.
2. Consultation & Treatment Consent
Every treatment begins with a thorough consultation. Our medical professional will assess your suitability for the requested procedure and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
Prior to any treatment, you will be required to complete a medical history form and sign an informed consent document. By signing, you acknowledge that you have been informed of the nature of the procedure, potential risks, expected outcomes, aftercare requirements, and any available alternatives.
You must disclose all relevant medical history, current medications, allergies, previous aesthetic treatments, and any known sensitivities. Withholding such information may affect the safety and outcome of your treatment and the clinic shall not be liable for adverse effects arising from non-disclosure.
3. Appointments & Cancellations
- Appointments must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.
- Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to complete any necessary paperwork.
- We request a minimum of 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee.
- We reserve the right to reschedule your appointment in case of unforeseen clinic circumstances. We will notify you at the earliest opportunity.
- Repeated no-shows may result in us being unable to accommodate future bookings.
4. Payments & Refund Policy
Payment is due at the time of service unless a prior arrangement has been made. We accept cash, UPI, and major debit/credit cards.
Packages & Prepaid Sessions: Packages are non-transferable and non-refundable once purchased. Unused sessions within a package may be carried forward for up to 12 months from the date of purchase, subject to the package terms.
Refunds: Refunds are generally not provided for completed treatments. If a treatment cannot be completed due to a clinical reason attributable to the clinic, a credit note or partial refund may be issued at management's discretion.
Results Disclaimer: Aesthetic treatments are not guaranteed to produce specific outcomes. Refunds will not be issued based on dissatisfaction with results where the treatment was properly performed and informed consent was obtained.
5. Medical Suitability & Contraindications
Certain treatments may not be suitable for all individuals. We reserve the right to decline or defer treatment if our medical professional determines that a procedure is contraindicated for you. This may include, but is not limited to:
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Active skin infections, open wounds, or inflammatory conditions in the treatment area
- Recent use of certain medications (e.g., isotretinoin, blood thinners)
- Known allergies to treatment components
- Certain autoimmune or systemic medical conditions
Our professional's decision regarding suitability is final and is made in the interest of your health and safety.
6. Risks, Side Effects & Expected Results
All aesthetic treatments carry a degree of risk. Common side effects — such as temporary redness, swelling, or mild discomfort — will be discussed during your consultation. While we take every precaution, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes, as individual results vary based on factors including skin type, age, medical history, lifestyle, and adherence to aftercare.
By proceeding with treatment after consultation, you acknowledge that you have been informed of the potential risks and accept them.
7. Aftercare Compliance
Proper aftercare is essential to achieving and maintaining the best results from your treatment. You are responsible for following the aftercare instructions provided by our team. The clinic shall not be held responsible for adverse outcomes resulting from failure to follow aftercare advice, including but not limited to sun exposure without SPF protection, use of contraindicated products, or returning for treatments before the recommended interval.
8. Photography & Media Consent
Before-and-after photographs may be taken for clinical documentation purposes with your consent. If you consent to the use of your images for marketing, educational, or social media purposes, you will be asked to sign a separate media release form. You may withdraw this consent at any time by notifying us in writing; however, materials already published prior to withdrawal cannot be retracted.
9. Behaviour & Clinic Etiquette
We are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and professional environment for all patients and staff. We request that all visitors:
- Treat all staff and other patients with courtesy and respect
- Arrive on time for scheduled appointments
- Refrain from bringing additional visitors into treatment areas without prior arrangement
- Switch mobile phones to silent during consultations and procedures
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to anyone who displays abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour toward our staff or other patients.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Aesthetic Arts Skin & Laser Centre and its medical professionals shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. Our total liability in connection with any service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that specific service. Nothing in these terms limits liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on our website — including text, images, graphics, logos, and treatment descriptions — is the intellectual property of Aesthetic Arts Skin & Laser Centre and may not be reproduced, copied, or distributed without our prior written consent.
12. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Darbhanga, Bihar, India.
